There are Congressional candidates consumed by their life’s ambition. And then there’s VoteforEddie.com.
According to the Associated Press, aspiring lawmaker Eddie Gonzalez legally changed his name to his campaign Web address. The independent candidate is running for office in Florida’s 25th Congressional district, the House seat currently held by Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart.
Shedding his filial ties appears to have been a non-issue, as evidenced by how smoothly (and often) the solon-in-training recites his catchy new moniker.
His bio states that he is still working on securing a bachelor’s degree in business. Sounds to us like this kid’s a born salesman.
