If Republican House hopeful Christopher Wight’s latest video is to be believed, Rep. Carolyn Maloney is nowhere to be found.
Wight staff have posted a campaign video showing them searching for the incumbent New York Democrat at what they say is her Manhattan re-election office, only to encounter an unattended buzzer and cryptic note asking for packages to be delivered elsewhere:
Team Wight did not respond to a request to find out if it had followed up or otherwise continued its sleuthing. Calls to Maloney’s two district offices, in Manhattan and Queens, were answered by staff, and a press aide promised to get back to us about the re-election campaign facility, which Maloney’s campaign website lists as 24 E. 93rd St., Suite 1B, in Manhattan.
Of note in the video: The name listed for Apartment 1B on the mailbox buzzer is “Malony,” a misspelling repeated on the handwritten forwarding note. Details, details.
