Kay Hagan’s Klingon Problem

Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., knew she would be facing a tough re-election battle this year. But she probably didn’t account for the latest development in the North Carolina Senate race: an opponent who’s tight with the Klingons.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Indian Trail Councilman David Waddell has tendered his resignation from the council in a letter written in the language of the Klingon warrior race of “Star Trek” fame, so he can pursue a write-in bid for the Senate.

So as not to confuse his political colleagues, Waddell included an English translation of the letter.

“Waddell ended his four-sentence resignation letter by paraphrasing a Klingon proverb: “Perhaps today is a good day (to) resign,” the newspaper reported.

A better headline would have been Kay Hagan’s Obamacare problem. Stick a fork in her. She’s toast.

Kay Hagan rode obama’s tail right into office….she is toast this coming election and I would venture to bet NC will flip GOB only if a Tea Party candidate wins the primaries. Cuccenelli would have won easily by a point or two if the GOP mainstream would have put the same resources behind him, even though the massive 17-1 spending gap Ken almost pulled it off….just goes to show all the Dems/libs/lilly’s try and demonize the tea party and then this election proves without doubt a tea party candidate should have won had his team got behind him. So enough with the tea party problem….the only problem is the GOP is letting the dems define the tea party and thus will never be able to reach middle of the road folk due to the lies and preposterous theories from Ivy league idiots. Seem that tea party candidate did extremely well considering the David Goliath money thon.

Where most activities are restricted and controlled, the term “liberties” is often used to describe those options which are still available.

Twisting liberty’s definition from “minimized coercion” into “removed obstacles” is the basis for replacing liberty with centralized power.

A better headline would have been Repbulican’s “Pay to Play” McCrory and Pope jacking up the state, forcing businesses to leave and causing daily protests of the People’s government. Embarrassment. Hagan’s numbers are up; the GOP including the governor are down! Stick a fork in the NC GOP. They’re toast.
