Marion Barry’s Help Wanted Ad
Posted at 4:04 p.m. on May 1, 2012
Looking for a job in Washington?
Washington, D.C., Mayor For Life and current Councilmember Marion Barry (D) is in the market for a new communications director.
According to a job posting on the D.C. Council website, the person they’re looking for has a communications-related degree, managerial experience and must reside in the District.
The chosen candidate will be able to join Barry in “doing God’s work” and will be able to address why Barry says some of the stuff he does, such as his recent comments on Filipino nurses and Asian-American business owners in D.C.
To the lucky person eventually selected, we say: Buckle up.
