Stanley Tucci is on the Hill for the second day this week.

Tucci will testify in front of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the Interior and Environment in support of the National Endowment for the Arts today.

While making his rounds, he made one Virginia Congressional office’s week!

The Hollywood actor — and one of the stars of “The Hunger Games” movie — stopped by the office of Rep. Jim Moran (D) on Wednesday to chit-chat with the Congressman and his staff.

He left “some pretty excited staffers” in his wake, Moran spokeswoman Anne Hughes tells HOH.

Did you miss Tucci? Never fear.

“He’ll be back [Thursday] afternoon,” Hughes says. “Alert the interns!”

Interns, consider yourselves alerted.

If you aren’t too starstruck by Tucci, he does have a serious message for Congress that the arts are “a necessity and not a luxury,” according to his prepared testimony.

“It is true art cannot always be ‘good,’ but it can be and is good for us,” he continues. “As history shows us, the arts not only help define who we are as a people but they are one of the deciding factors that clarify the distinction between a society and a great nation.”

Sir, welcome to the arena.
