It’s time again for Take Five, when HOH sits down with a member of Congress over five fun questions. This week, Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., struggles to pick favorites from his home state.

Q: Tennessee is famous for its barbecue. Do you have any favorite barbecue joints back home? Or if not, then what’s your favorite restaurant back in your home state?

A: Tennessee has outstanding barbecue. I could get in a lot of trouble by choosing a favorite, so instead I’ll share that one of my favorite restaurants back home in Chattanooga right now is a place called Tremont Tavern. My wife, Lizzy, and I have been going a lot lately. I love their cheeseburgers.

Q: What’s your favorite political movie?

A: I don’t know that I can think of a political movie. Given the time of year, I always really like watching “A Christmas Story” with my daughters. I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, but when my oldest daughter got married last fall, we enjoyed watching “Father of the Bride.”

Q: Your home state is known for its musical history. If you could attend  a concert by any musical artist, alive or dead, who would it be? Why?

A: I’m extremely proud of Tennessee’s musical history, and I don’t want to offend any of our tremendous musical artists past or present, so instead I’ll share the fact that my first date with my wife was to a Four Tops concert.

Q: You’ve been a construction superintendent, a CEO, a city mayor and a real estate developer. What’s your dream job?

A: I have had the good fortune that every job I’ve had has been exactly what I wanted to be doing at the time.

Q: What’s the one tourist attraction in Tennessee a traveler shouldn’t miss?

A: There are many. These questions are tough! Ask me about fiscal reform instead! As I said, there are many, but it’s hard to beat riding your bike along the Tennessee River in Chattanooga. That’s one of my favorite things to do on the weekends.
