To those still wondering whether the well-heeled are the least bit concerned about the protracted foot-dragging on the fiscal cliff, we say, pshaw:
Granted, these punchy private equity folks — this is but one of several holiday greetings Altus Capital Partners prepared this year — may simply be expressing inordinate faith that President Barack Obama and Speaker John A. Boehner will, in fact, hammer out a bipartisan deal before all hell breaks loose to ring in the new year.
Then again, they could have all just gotten the high sign from accounting that their respective nest eggs will be shielded from exposure to any significant tax consequences in 2013.
